I'm Michelle, the artist and baker behind The Bougie Baker. I'm a USAF veteran, wife to my Air Force sweetheart of 15 years, and mama to two little ones who keep life full of laughter and crumbs.
I opened my small business in 2018 with a passion for creating custom sugar art that feels as special as the moments they're made for. After a season of growth and change, I'm excited to reopen in Vail, bringing elevated, one-of-a-kind cookies to celebrations both big and small.

What types of products do you offer?
We offer handcrafted cookies through custom orders and Cookie Drops:
Signature Sugar Cookies - Available as custom orders, designed around your event, or through our Cookie Drops featuring rotating seasonal and surprise designs.
Oversized Gourmet Cookies - Thick, indulgent cookies available in various flavors.
Mini Cookie Trays - Perfect for sharing, gifting, office treats and celebrations.
Where are you located, and do you offer delivery or pickup?
I am located in Corona de Tucson (Vail, AZ) operating from a licensed residential bakery. Pickup is available by appointment, and delivery can be arranged for select orders.
How far in advance should I place an order?
We open our booking calendar in three-month increments to keep things organized. For most custom orders, this works perfectly. However, for large orders, weddings, or corporate events, the earlier the better - sometimes 6-9 months in advance may be necessary to ensure availability. You're always welcome to inquire early, and we can discuss your timeline and options.
Can I try your cookies before placing a custom order?
Absolutely! Our Cookie Drops are the perfect way to experience The Bougie Baker before placing a custom order. We offer both our gourmet and signature sugar cookies.
You can also find our signature sugar cookies each week at Vail Coffee Stop, located at 13105 E Colossal Cave Road, Vail, AZ while supplies last.
How do you accept payment?
Custom orders are secured via Zelle or credit card payment; businesses may purchase with a check. Cookie Drops allow multiple payment options at checkout.
Is a deposit required for custom orders?
For most custom orders, payment in full is required in order to secure your date on our calendar. For larger orders booked several amount in advance, a 50% non-refundable retainer may be accepted, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date.
Do you offer dietary accommodations?
All of our products are made in a residential kitchen that regularly handles dairy, eggs, gluten, and nuts. Due to the risk of cross-contamination and the safety of those with severe allergies, we do not offer dietary accommodations.
